you were the reason i went to school. you wrote my name down on your shoe, but then it washed off with the first rain and you forgot my name. always driving around with both feet, blowing through all the stop signs on my street. you dropped me off and then everything changed, and you forgot my name.
I am pretty sure I love this album because of lines like this:
"Time cast a spell on you and you will forget me
I know I could have loved you, but you would not let me
I will follow you down ’til the sound of my voice still haunts you
You’ll never get away from the sound of the woman that loved you" . Somehow they hit really hard, even though the instrumentation is coercing you to sway back and forth in a positive form. quiet_calm_deceased
