let's go take a walk in the graveyard. i used to hold my breath when i walked here. now i swing and climb on the tombstones. i dug a grave and lied down in it. ghosts try to pull you into the past when you sit at home and ask them 'am i dead?' just come back from the dead, do something, and mean it. scene change always seems to happen at night. fade-in to a broken street light. a distant figure with hands in his pockets. my whole life, i've never even felt half-right.
I am pretty sure I love this album because of lines like this:
"Time cast a spell on you and you will forget me
I know I could have loved you, but you would not let me
I will follow you down ’til the sound of my voice still haunts you
You’ll never get away from the sound of the woman that loved you" . Somehow they hit really hard, even though the instrumentation is coercing you to sway back and forth in a positive form. quiet_calm_deceased
